Currently in private practice in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I am a state of Oklahoma board approved licensure supervisor in the specialty of professional counseling.
My educational background includes both an undergraduate degree in Psychology (2005) and a Master of Arts in Psychology-Counseling (2009) from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have been licensed since 2011.
The last 10 years of my clinical work has primarily been about the Oklahoma adult’s community mental health as a therapist and later management team leader. I have experience and training in working clinically with adults, adolescents and their families facing a wide range of issues from trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, family conflict as well as other presenting issues. The focus of my work has centered on trauma, addiction, depression and anxiety. I am passionate about working and advocating for the needs of adults who have come from hard places. I also enjoy training, teaching and mentoring fellow professionals and have been a licensure supervisor for four years.
I was born and raised in Oklahoma; I am married with two young child. I love to watch movies and be outside. My belief is that no matter our spiritual/religious background, we are all humans who have had difficult life experiences. I believe that finding radical acceptance and self-love are difficult paths to navigate alone. I want to partner with you to understand your world view. I value repairs and re-dos in relationships (parenting, partner, friend, etc.) because I too make lots of mistakes. I am honored to be able to pursue my passion of helping others.
