I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to addiction support, family counseling and beyond. What to Expect:
Over the phone we will discuss basic information, including contact information, presenting problem, insurance, and any questions you may have. If I miss your phone call, I will return it within 24 hours.
Confidentiality begins at initial contact. Confidentiality will only be broken if there is reported abuse or neglect of children, elderly or disabled persons. If I have reason to suspect the client is seriously in danger of harming him/herself or as threatened to harm another person. If there is a court order.

Adolescents:
During the initial appointment I will meet with both you and your child for the entire session. It is ideal if both parents/guardians are able to attend this appointment. We will discuss pertinent history, how you have tried to solve it, parenting styles, communication between you and your child, behavior, school, peer relationships, sibling relationships and general family dynamics.
Adults:
Therapy looks and feels different for each person, however, during our first appointment you can expect to discuss what struggles are bringing you to therapy, relevant personal history, and any prior counseling.
Based on your specific needs, we will identify therapy goals, and discuss length of recommended therapy.
